Windows Sever Backup to SMB error "THe username not recognized by local computer"
I have a Server 2012 machine that's in a workgroup so no AD involved. When I tried to create a backup schedule all goes well until I try to authenticate it says that "the User name being used for accessing the remote share folder is not recognized by the local computer" I believe this problem can be resolved if my server was a DC and the NAS was set to authenticate using AD.
