I cannot access the ADMIN page in this device. I have tried shutting down the NAS and restarting. I would like to update the firmware and make adjustments to my backup file size but cannot do so until I can access the ADMIN page. What do I need to do to fx this problem?3.3KViews0likes11CommentsRN 214 Can't access admin page MAC OS

I recently upgraded the system to firmware 6.7.5 from 6.7.2 I've been having lots of problems since V6.7.x with Readycloud access so decided to disconnect the device from ReadyCloud & re-Discover it & set it up again (expecting to retain all data & AFP/SMB shares) The Admin page refuses to show & is always reported as "offline" whether I try from inside ReadyCloud page or direct from a PC or iPad browser. Sometimes it even says I am not on the same network ! I have seen a moderator say in reply to another post that 1GB RAM is now not really enough. My system has only 512MB. Questions are :- 1/ how to get to the Admin Page 2/ can the RAM be increased ? Hoping someone can help !! Thanks in advance.3.2KViews0likes4CommentsReadyNas 104 - Scrub 12h in and still active but nothing accessible (6.7.5)
Anyone else has, or had, an issue where scrub would be active but no shares or admin page are accessible? Basically, scrub started 12h ago one one partition and it is now at about 28% (real slow at this rythm it will take another ~42H to finish!). Suddently the shares all died and can't access admin page. What I am left with: > The display show network connected and continue to trickle the Scrub %. > Raidar claim the box is Healthy? But if I try to download logs or diagnostics, I get 'Not a valid user or Password'. I know those are good. > Admin page return 'This page can't be reached. x.x.x.x refused to connect' > All shares are down. > Mediaserver is down. Any suggestion? How safe it is to hard restart the box while scrubbing is on? Regards,2.9KViews0likes3CommentsApache2 not starting, admin page is offline, shares and SSH are still available
Over the weekend I set up PHP, MySQL, and phpmyadmin and moved my web-based database to the NAS. Everything worked except the htaccess. I got that working Monday and tested it all out with great pride. Then I rebooted (to replace the UPS) and when it came back up, I could not access my subdirectories in the www share online. I received an email from the NAS saying that there were errors in the PHP install. I went to try to uninstall it, and I got an error that it couldn't be uninstalled. Then all the web pages were down including the admin page. Port 7082 (phpmyadmin) isn't responding either. I used SSH to log in. I tried to restart apache, but it failed saying: apache2[4034]: [error] server reached MaxClients setting, consider raising the MaxClients setting I can still access the shares through the network, I can access them through https://readycloud.netgear.com/ as well as my iphone app. I just can't get to the admin page or the www share set up for HTML access. RAIDar says everything is up and healthy. The admin page shows the "ReadyNas Admin is offline" page. Firmware is 6.6.1 - but before this happened it said that was the most current (although I see it's not). What am I missing? How can I correct this?Solved2.4KViews0likes3CommentsBad Request - No Access to Admin Page ReadyNas 104 & NV +2

Hi, need some help here. I have had a ReadyNAS Ultra 2 for several years. Running quiet in the closet with no problems. One disc crashed to day, and it was expected so i had 2 new discs ready. Wanted to make a fresh start and did a factory install after installing the 2 new discs. Running raidar, and i get to select raid 1. creating volume, testing discs. And BAM... i cant see the ultra 2 in the raidar. I can see on the router that the nas has a ip adress and has link. Have waited a long time, did a factory reset again... stopped the same place. The /admin does not work. no ssh or anything. Any pointers to what i can do?Solved3.6KViews0likes3CommentsReadyNAS "Admin Page" is offline after messing with http settings
I was messing with my http settings and now the http goes to the file folder I was fooling with instead of the Admin page. When I type the local ip address in with the /admin the blue box takes forever to fill and then it comes back with Ready NAS Admin page is offline. and try checking back when the system is not busy. The ready cloud works fine but can't see the http settings I was messing with on that screen. Any ideas?2.2KViews0likes2Comments
