Hello I just did install an Orbi router and its satellite , all goes fine, there is internet and sofar all is working well. the problem now is to get access to the admin page, i saw that it was changed to 10.0.0.1 to not to have problems with my router, in my configuration there is a router 192.168.21.1 that is attached to the modem 192.168.1.1 in the basement, there is a cable in the first floor where i did install the router Orbi, so when I try to enter I think there is a conflict there. With the app in the iphone it does not recognize the orbi network and the router, when i try to enter using orbilogin.net or 10.0.0.1.I can not ccess neither, I always have the same page of not found with the url and it is thinking all the time with the IP, I did manage to enter only with the cable and disconeting the internet router that gives internet to the Orbi and I did changed the IP of Orbi to 192.168.24.77, but anyway when I out back the cable it is not working. Please help me! thanks in advance.SolvedReadyNAS "Admin Page" is offline
Hi all, Unfortunately, my ReadyNAS (OS 6.2.4) has been troubled for quite some time. I'm not able to connect to the admin page of the NAS within a couple of days after a device reset. When I reset the device (readynas 2 ultra legacy) it will work fine, but within a few days the admin page will go offline and will not return until the device is reset again. Trying to access the admin page will get a "Connecting to ReadyNAS Admin Page" which results in "ReadyNAS Admin page is offline". A number of things I tried to fix it: - Disabling anti-virus - Disabling MySQL - Disabling snapshots - Disabling most apps - Trying different internet browsers and incognito mode to check cache issues With Raidar, I'm able to see the device, but the overview screen will say: "Status: Management service is offline". All shares and apps are also working and I'm able to open them as well so it's just the admin page that is offline. So far I have been unable to fix this, but it's been like this for quite some months now :( Please help! If needed I'm able to send logs.Solved11KViews0likes14CommentsHow do I change the default username on WNDR3700v5
Hello, I found how to change the administration password on my router, but I would also like to change admin by something else. I have been looking for a while and was unable to find anywhere how to replace 'admin' by something else. I would love any answer, including it is impossible, so I will stop to search :smileywink: Kind Regard, CharlesNovelSolvedCannot access my router settings (log-in) in any way (factory reset'd several times)
Hey everyone, before I start I want to apologize if this is not the correct section to post this thread. The router I currently own is this one (click here) and I simply cannot access my router settings (routerlogin.com or 192.168.1.1) I do get the text box to input my username : password but all the login infos I've looked up in google won't work. Text Box I get to see. I tried multiple sites to check for login info and none work, one of those being this huge "2018 updated" list: https://www.lifewire.com/netgear-default-password-list-2619154 At the beggining I thought it could be my router messing stuff around because sometimes I got a message saying "Your conenction is not secure" so I tried on MS Edge and then on Firefox, no luck either. I decided to contact ISP, blah, blah, for security reasons they cannot give me admin : password (not sure why?) [My ISP provided me this Netgeat router, I didn't buy it by myself]. Anyhow I did not care about what they said because I used to have TrendNET router and could access to my router settings with no interference from them; the next big step I did was holding the little "factory reset" until the power light started to blink (Not sure if it's held more time it might do something). After factory reset I got the default SSID and PW of the network, I logged in, and had to "log-in" to the network, the only thing it said was the SSID and PW I already knew and 2 buttons, one was to print all the info and the other one to proceed and "activate" the internet. Tried all the possible combinations of admin : password after factory reset and no luck either, no I'm stuck with a SSID called "SureWest-f1" instead of the custom SSID I want. I remember once after a while (because I gave up and submitting a live chat here required a proof of purchase which I don't have because like I mentioned before, my ISP gave this to me) I remember attempting to factory reset it again like 4+ times, and only ONE of them allowed me to access the router info, I had like 3 options to choose, continue with net, configure settings, etc. (instead of the print thing screen I mentioned before) but amazingly unlucky me something happened and after settings everything I wanted, the save button or whatever it was simply didn't work, didn't have connection anymore, had to factory reset again and since then I haven't ever been able to access my router settings apart from that lucky try. (Not exactly sure WHAT I did that one time, maybe I held the factory reset button longer? Who knows..) I'd really like to access my router settings to change SSID how I want, custom password, and doing some port-forwarding. Please any help is appreciated, my ISP just won't help me, they're limiting me what to do with my OWN router.SolvedReadyNAS Duo cannot access admin page or factory reset
I know this is quite an old system (purchased 2011) - but the optimist in me says that means everything has been fixed more than once right? After moving house it has took me a while to ge this unpacked and attached to the network. It does not have a UPS attached and I think must have suffered a power outage, as I now cannot access the admin page. I can still see the unit on RAIDar and the disks are showing heathly. I can still browse to the shares, alhough most of the data has gone. For this model, I think there are only two boot modes - hold reset for 10s - OS Relaod; hold for 30s - factory default. I have tried both multiple times (with both disk lights flashing as they are supposed to), but without success. The factory default is not removing the shares or resetting admin password (neither original PW or admin & admin works). Accessing through MS Edge or Internet Explorer, on a Win 10 machine. Any other ideas or suggestions?Solved4.4KViews0likes7CommentsWebb interface does not work in chrome

Have multiple NETGEAR WiFi routers in office. Prefer to use the office DNS to access them for obvious reasons (e.g., 'PetersWifi' instead of trying to remember IPv4/6 internal addresses like '192.168.245.22', especially since DHCP occasionaly changes the addresses). Unfortunately, calling the embedded admin page on the R7800s by name produces '404' or a bad page (a single digit, usually '0'). The R7800s work if I use the net local IP (sends me to admin login popup). All the other routers (e.g., the R6300s) work as expected regardless of using name, IPv4, or IPv6. Updated to firmware V1.0.2.28, but still fails. 90 day support (these are new routers) requests have produced nothing but a run-around, disrespect, insulting answers ('The Interenet is not available in AP mode.') and refusal to take documentation of the problem. They posted the report to the support web app with the title 'Unable to access the genie page using routerlogin.net' -- so it appears that their '2nd level support expert' doesn't understand basic networking concepts. So i turn to the community for help... anyone? * * * two WIFI access points on this network. One is called “R6300v2” and the other is called “R7800”: log onto the R6300 using its name and a browser, like so: Which gets me to the web interface: on the Nighthawk, here’s what happens: But it WORKS when I just use the IPv4 address:Solved3.8KViews0likes6CommentsError Messages
