Hello, I am NOW having issues with my new (CM2500) mid/high modem. I've been having latency issues, time outs, disconnects for awhile now, ever since Comcast 'upgraded' the internet in my area. I THOUGHT it was due to SYN floods & DoS's but i was WRONG! After getting help from a very awesome user here (Shout out to FURRYe38!) I was able to stealth my ports, get a new IP and be fine from that... STILL having the same issues. So, it is NOT the problem with router, it is a problem with the modem & it's connection to ISP. FURRY pointed this out in the router discussion and i did contact Comcast (my ISP) BUT they where un-able to see ANYTHING wrong and did nothing. So, now i am here again, hoping to get some insight. Here are my modem logs + connection. Redacted MACs. Anyone see anything wrong with this other than the logs? Enable Extended Upstream Transit Power is ON, should i turn it off? I DID contact my ISP again and do have a tech coming on the 12th. HOWEVER, if there is anything I can do on my end or is this a purely ISP problem? I have until the 11th to return this expensive modem and just rent a dang Gateway from Comcast if nothing fixes this. Any help or info would be VERY apricated, thank you!Solved179Views0likes15Comments
