Hi, I was running Plex 1.12.2 on ReadyNAS 6.9.2. Today I went to install Plex 1.13.0 via the ReadyNAS web interface, however I receive the error message “Cannot install application plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries”. It had already come up with the usual app install window and churned around for a bit and uninstalled the old version. So I rebooted the ReadyNAS and it’s the same - still can’t install it. I then decided to upgrade the ReadyNAS firmware to 6.9.3. After rebooting I then went to install Plex again but still “Cannot install application plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries”. Thinking I was fortunate I noticed that I had the old Plex download on my hard drive, but alas that won’t install either. plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries_1.13.0.5023-31d3c0c65_amd64.deb plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries_1.12.2.4929-29f6d1796_amd64.deb So as of now I can’t install either version? Any suggestions gratefully received! ReadyNAS is far from full - it’s got 2.4TB free.Orbi AC2200 RBK30 with no Modem
I have a Orbi RBK30 that came yesterday, I am attempting to set up the router but the instructions state to reset your modem in order for the internet to work. I have fios internet but I have a wall plug with no modem. I attempted to plug the ethernet cord directly from the wall to the router and I am able to connect to the router but no internet. I use another router and the internet works fine, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?Configure NAS
Hi everyone, I´ve been using a shared hard disk in my local network and this is my very first time using a NAS and I cannot find the way to configure it. It´s been a couple of days since I´ve been setting it up but there is nothing else I can do. I have tried a couple of possible solutions but nothing worked so I am going to tell what I have done and see if you can help me. am using the hard drive I used for local network, and I just want to let you know that I only store movies on it so I don’t use it that much and it has got more or less a year since I bought it. So, I formatted the hard drive which is a Seagate ST2000DM001 and inserted in the chamber 1 of the NAS. After turning it up it did nothing, I wasn´t able to find it in the Ready Cloud web page, also pressed the backup button for 5 sec. and nothing. I also downloaded the RAIDar programme and still the same. As I remembered I set to my tech a static IP so I thought it would be because of that so I set the NAS with the 192.168.1.10 to the eth0 and 192.168.1.11 to the eth1. I do have the NAS connected the router my internet provider gave as I also have a switch and thought this could cause some issues. I can ping the ip from my PC sending 4 packages and receiving them too, I have also tried looking up they IP through the browser and nothing. So, I thought it would be a problem with the hard disk so I decided to formatted using this manual selection Factory default and leave it "think” for 30 min; useless.Right now, it has the power button blue and the rest are off. I´m also going to post some photos as they may be useful. Any help is welcome and thanks in advanced. No orbi network during setup
Existing modem/router is a Ubee device from Spectrum (nee TWC). Setup up router and satellite following the very basic quick start guide. No Orbi wifi network ever showed up. Among the various options tried at this point: Tried switching among the 4 ethernet ports on the Ubee. Restarted Ubee and Orbi multiple times. Tried connecting directly to Orbi using an ethernet cable to my laptop but again no connection or recognition that I plugged anything in. Plugged ethernet directly into Ubee and could see the Orbi on the ethernet port. Reset Orbi. Spent an hour plus reading every discussion thread and saw nothing related to there not being a wifi signal out of Orbi or connecting to Orbi physically with an ethernet cable but not seeing anything. I stopped working with the satellite midway through the process assuming that satellite connection didn't matter if router is not doing anything. If I can't connect to router, I can't do a firmware upgrade, change any settings, etc. Any ideas? The instructions and support information is very basic without any detail about or options for a situation like this. I will be returning this shortly.Connect Netgear WNR 1000v2 to comcast technicolor tc8305c gateway to extend wifi signal
Ok People, I only know enough to be dangerours and Comcast is NO HELP at all so please go easy on me. (Completely different topic that I could B*#^@% about for Days). Anyway... I have Poor Wifi in areas of house from comcast technicolor tc8305c. (tc8305c is in lower level of house and it's pretty much going to be very difficult to relocate and signal is very poor on second level addition to home) I have run ethernet from the tc8305c up to an old wnr1000v2 in order to extend or repeat the wifi signal. I have been able to get this to work using Lan from gateway (tc8305c) to wan port on wnr1000v2. In that configuration, both have seperate SSID. This does work, but wondering if some of the laging issues are due to double NAT I've read about. The gateway (tc8305c) to internet uses an ip of 10.0.0.1 while the wnr1000v2 uses 192.168.1.1 Both have DHCP enabled. In reading about this, it appears if I change the ethernet from Lan to Wan over to Lan on Gateway to Lan on Wnr10000v2 and give the wnr1000v2 a static ip address and disable DHCP that is supposed to work. However I cannot figure out what the static address should be. DHCP for the gateway is set Beginning at 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.252 and I believe the wnr1000v2 needs to be set outside that? (So 10.0.0.253?) I don't care if they have 2 seperate Ip address, however I have also read that going Lan to Lan, if I change the SSID on wnr1000v2 to match that of the gateway, then everything is "supposed" to flow seamlesly and would use whatever signal is strongest depending on where in house you are. This apparently would also make a wifi network (Work)? Hope this makes some sort of sense. If the above isn't possible, what is the best way to get the signal to reach all areas of the house using an hard wired ethernet connection from the gateway up to addition. Anyway, "ANY" help would be much appreciated. I'll send out for Scotch ! (Or Whiskey, whatever gets this thing working). Thanks Very Much Mac2.9KViews0likes1CommentReadyNAS Pro Business Edition - No folder in SSH

Hello guys! I hope this is the right section for this topic... I'm using my ReadyNAS with 6.4.2 OS on a NETGEAR ReadyNAS 102. Since a while, it seems to be impossible to install App in the web-based admin utility both choosing the apps proposed in the default list and uploading *.deb files (I'm trying to install monsta_1.4.2_all.deb). A message about an update problems of the apps list appear for less than 1 sec (impossible to read it), then the admin utility close and re-start. I tryed to activate SSH and I used a atp-get update command. The got this error, before to exit: Err https://deb.nodesource.com wheezy/main armel Packages HttpError404 Fetched 11.6 MB in 44s (264 kB/s) W: GPG error: https://deb.nodesource.com wheezy InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 1655A0AB68576280 W: Failed to fetch https://deb.nodesource.com/node_0.10/dists/wheezy/main/binary-armel/Packages HttpError404 E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. I asked to Netgear's support, but I got only a request to buy a support package even to read my message... I'm sure I could find more friendly advise here! Thank you very much! DanieleRAIDar 6.1 on Windows 10
RAIDar 6.1 seems to have the same "Install" issues as in Ver: 6.0. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/Raidar-6-0-on-Windows-10/m-p/1018524 Running 6.1 RAIDar.exe does update the %user%\Appdata\Local\RAIDar\RAIDar.exe 1064kb file to a 1067kb file, but still no signs of a shortcut/icon/start menu item.3.8KViews0likes5CommentsReadyNAS How-To download RAIDar (what is the different with RAIDiator) 4.2.7 on PC
When I download either RAIDiator or RAIDar, I get some unknown file extension on RAIDiator-V4.2.27 and a Web-shortcut RAIDiator-V4.2.27. I assume this is a Firmware file. These two files are not .EXE that I need to install RAIDar V4.2.27 on the PC. From what I can tell I need RAIDar V4.2.27 for my ReadyNAS Pro 6 on my PC. I cannot find RAIDar .EXEon the site to download. Can someone tell me where I can download the .EXE, please. Back Ground: I had it on my PC and I had to reimage it as it crashed. I had (from Memory) RAIDar 4.2.27. I can’t remember precisely how I got in on my PC. I'm fairly certain I downloaded it from the ReadyNAS Site. but I can't find it again Thank youSolved5KViews0likes2Comments
