Hi, I was running Plex 1.12.2 on ReadyNAS 6.9.2. Today I went to install Plex 1.13.0 via the ReadyNAS web interface, however I receive the error message “Cannot install application plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries”. It had already come up with the usual app install window and churned around for a bit and uninstalled the old version. So I rebooted the ReadyNAS and it’s the same - still can’t install it. I then decided to upgrade the ReadyNAS firmware to 6.9.3. After rebooting I then went to install Plex again but still “Cannot install application plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries”. Thinking I was fortunate I noticed that I had the old Plex download on my hard drive, but alas that won’t install either. plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries_1.13.0.5023-31d3c0c65_amd64.deb plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries_1.12.2.4929-29f6d1796_amd64.deb So as of now I can’t install either version? Any suggestions gratefully received! ReadyNAS is far from full - it’s got 2.4TB free.Configure NAS
Hi everyone, I´ve been using a shared hard disk in my local network and this is my very first time using a NAS and I cannot find the way to configure it. It´s been a couple of days since I´ve been setting it up but there is nothing else I can do. I have tried a couple of possible solutions but nothing worked so I am going to tell what I have done and see if you can help me. am using the hard drive I used for local network, and I just want to let you know that I only store movies on it so I don’t use it that much and it has got more or less a year since I bought it. So, I formatted the hard drive which is a Seagate ST2000DM001 and inserted in the chamber 1 of the NAS. After turning it up it did nothing, I wasn´t able to find it in the Ready Cloud web page, also pressed the backup button for 5 sec. and nothing. I also downloaded the RAIDar programme and still the same. As I remembered I set to my tech a static IP so I thought it would be because of that so I set the NAS with the 192.168.1.10 to the eth0 and 192.168.1.11 to the eth1. I do have the NAS connected the router my internet provider gave as I also have a switch and thought this could cause some issues. I can ping the ip from my PC sending 4 packages and receiving them too, I have also tried looking up they IP through the browser and nothing. So, I thought it would be a problem with the hard disk so I decided to formatted using this manual selection Factory default and leave it "think” for 30 min; useless.Right now, it has the power button blue and the rest are off. I´m also going to post some photos as they may be useful. Any help is welcome and thanks in advanced.ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition - No folder in SSH

Hello guys! I hope this is the right section for this topic... I'm using my ReadyNAS with 6.4.2 OS on a NETGEAR ReadyNAS 102. Since a while, it seems to be impossible to install App in the web-based admin utility both choosing the apps proposed in the default list and uploading *.deb files (I'm trying to install monsta_1.4.2_all.deb). A message about an update problems of the apps list appear for less than 1 sec (impossible to read it), then the admin utility close and re-start. I tryed to activate SSH and I used a atp-get update command. The got this error, before to exit: Err https://deb.nodesource.com wheezy/main armel Packages HttpError404 Fetched 11.6 MB in 44s (264 kB/s) W: GPG error: https://deb.nodesource.com wheezy InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 1655A0AB68576280 W: Failed to fetch https://deb.nodesource.com/node_0.10/dists/wheezy/main/binary-armel/Packages HttpError404 E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. I asked to Netgear's support, but I got only a request to buy a support package even to read my message... I'm sure I could find more friendly advise here! Thank you very much! DanieleRAIDar 6.1 on Windows 10
RAIDar 6.1 seems to have the same "Install" issues as in Ver: 6.0. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/Raidar-6-0-on-Windows-10/m-p/1018524 Running 6.1 RAIDar.exe does update the %user%\Appdata\Local\RAIDar\RAIDar.exe 1064kb file to a 1067kb file, but still no signs of a shortcut/icon/start menu item.3.8KViews0likes5CommentsReadyNAS How-To download RAIDar (what is the different with RAIDiator) 4.2.7 on PC
When I download either RAIDiator or RAIDar, I get some unknown file extension on RAIDiator-V4.2.27 and a Web-shortcut RAIDiator-V4.2.27. I assume this is a Firmware file. These two files are not .EXE that I need to install RAIDar V4.2.27 on the PC. From what I can tell I need RAIDar V4.2.27 for my ReadyNAS Pro 6 on my PC. I cannot find RAIDar .EXEon the site to download. Can someone tell me where I can download the .EXE, please. Back Ground: I had it on my PC and I had to reimage it as it crashed. I had (from Memory) RAIDar 4.2.27. I can’t remember precisely how I got in on my PC. I'm fairly certain I downloaded it from the ReadyNAS Site. but I can't find it again Thank youSolved5KViews0likes2Comments
