Anyone else has, or had, an issue where scrub would be active but no shares or admin page are accessible? Basically, scrub started 12h ago one one partition and it is now at about 28% (real slow at this rythm it will take another ~42H to finish!). Suddently the shares all died and can't access admin page. What I am left with: > The display show network connected and continue to trickle the Scrub %. > Raidar claim the box is Healthy? But if I try to download logs or diagnostics, I get 'Not a valid user or Password'. I know those are good. > Admin page return 'This page can't be reached. x.x.x.x refused to connect' > All shares are down. > Mediaserver is down. Any suggestion? How safe it is to hard restart the box while scrubbing is on? Regards,2.9KViews0likes3CommentsReadyShare DLNA Server Disconnects during music streaming
Hi, I have connected a Seagate Backup 2T USB drive to Netgear CableModem router (C3000) to serve as media server. On the player side, I connected a Marantz NA8005 network music player to the router wired via ethernet. The player is able to see "readyshare DLNA: C3000" server initially, and I can browse the folders, and play music. However, after 5-10 minutes, it will stop with a message "server disconnected". At this point, I am also not able to browse the media folder from my PC. The only way to recover is to restart the router. It will then function properly for 5-10 minutes before server get disconnect again. Any suggestions on what I need to do? -ed4.5KViews0likes6CommentsReadyDLNA visible but access denied
Hi there, I have a 1TB external drive connected to my router. I can access the drive as a network drive from all PCs over WiFi without any problems. - but I can't access the drive as a media server. Both options "activate media server" and "activate TiVo support" are activated, the scan is set to automatic (well you can't click anything else there) and I have given the media server a name. It is visible on all the devices - PS3, Yamaha network player, Genie app on andriod phone, PCs,.... --> but NO device can access it! One says "access denied" the other one says "no files" windows says "connection was not accepted" etc... It's very annoying as it used to work fine before. It's definately a problem of the router and not of any device as no device can open the media server. I hardly changed any settings of the router - only name of the server, SID and so on. I have already restored the router to factory settings but it is the same thing then! "ReadyDLNA" is visible on every device but access is denied. I have Frontier DSL and they give you a lovey router. I also have a Netgear R7000 router. I had the Frontier router in bridge mode and it always reverted back to Routed Bridge. When this happened I lost Internet and it was a pain to fix. So this weekend I decided to set the R7000 as an Access Point, everything works great, till I tried to access the media server. I can access the hdd with //networkdrive/harddrive but if I try to log in using my Xbox or Blu-Ray player it says media server not connected, but it shows the media servers name. Any ideas?Solved5.6KViews0likes3Comments
