HELP ... router has been connected since August without any issues, I bought a new lap top and in net genie on my old laptop (where I am typing this) it shows up and looks connected, I go to my new laptop put the network name and password (it is a protected network) and it states I will need to input more info go to webpage I Get a black and red NETGEAR page saying denied access. I go to netgenie ON THIS LAPTOP and left click go through the whole bit, every tab etc and there is nothing no where that shows access/deny access where I can turn it on or off. I have not logged into net genie since August so something is up. ALL pw's network names/ssids are correct and match. I adced the network on new laptop ... and it is not connecting to the web. HELP. I have no idea about any of this ... (I did do all the ipconfig command prompt things too, to make sure that was not the issue) WHAT DO I DO ... Please if you can instruct me thru the net genie thing that is all I have any knowledge of. I AM SO PISSED OFF so any and all help would be so greatly appreciated you have no idea. Hi my Cable Modem / Router N300 C-3000 has a really annoying issue where after about 10 mins it stops communicating with all my devices. I called the cable company who said my signal was great (TWC) and tried setting fixed channel and factory resetting. Neither fixed it, when I run a speed test the download speed via wifi fluctuates from a few MBS to like 45 and the upload stays constant. After 10 minutes I can't connect at all unless I unplug and replug the router in I think the firmware is broken TWC said they cant downgrade it and its the latest version.3.3KViews0likes4Comments
