Short version is that came in to work and no connections. Found the 10GB switch with no port lights on and no fans running. The tiny power light blinks and the fans nudge a little with each blink but it is not accessible and simply acts dead. No clue how to address this but have reached out to support and exploring local computer repair stores. Working perfectly fine one day and dead the next. There was a MacOS update and being mostly a Mac based studio .....idk but thats the only difference in the day before and today.Model EX6000 unable to enter Extender mode
Just bought an EX6000 and am beginning to set it up. I placed the extender into the same room as the router and plugged it in. On plugging it in, the Power LED is Orange. WPS/Mode LED is off. * Press the Power on/off button. * Power light becomes green. WPS/Mode LED still off. * Press WPS/Mode Button for more than 5 seconds. * Power light turns orange. WPS/Mode Button blinks green. * Power light turns green. WPS/Mode Button turns off. The Extender doesn't seent to want to enter Extender mode - can anyone help with this? Hello together, some days ago, I saw on my router, that there is a update. After I installed the newest version, which is V1.0.0.108, I first found out, that the connection speed for all clients was just terrible. The router was not able to provide more then 20MBit/s out of a 200MBit/s connection. After a fresh reinstallation by reset the router, the speed was just fine. I've tried to restore my backup, I did just before the reset but than, the router was back to 20MBit/s. So, I had to configure everything from scratch (including reserev IPs for more than 20 devices, port forwarding for NAS, printer etc.) Finally it worked with the full 200MBit/s but a day later I've recognized, that I#m not able to find the 2,4Ghz WLAN anymore. So, I reconfigured it and it was visible for approximately 20 minutes. After that, the 2,4 connection was gone again. At all the time, my 5Ghz connection was working normal. Some hours ago, I tried to reconfigure the 2,4Ghz network to work again but with no success. 10 minutes it worked, after that, it disappered. May you please help me fix this issue? Hi, I have a problem to open "Advanced Settings" in my R6400 Router, it's like this from beginning (I remember it worked once for me after some firmware update), when I click on this it showes totally nothing (basic works fine). I've tried to enter settings from many different devices (PC, laptops, phones etc.), factory reset, cookies cleaning and logging via different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge) also don't working. It's an big issue for me for example I can't turn off the lights from router which is really annoying and what is more annoying I can't swtich any advanced settings so basically I don't know how to solve this and I'm waiting for any magical advice.SolvedMy A6210 adapter stopped working!
I had this adapter for a few months. It has been running on my windows 10 operated computer all the time. Sometimes I had trouble connecting, but it always turned out great. Then when I turned the computer on, it refused to work. I had been on the computer today, played a few games, spoke with my buddy via skype. Turned the computer off, and went outside for a couple of hours. When I returned, and turned the computer on, it didn't have internet. It refused to connect. I don't know why. I have tried restarting my computer. I tried switching USB ports, trying different cabels, testing my extention cabel, tried the adapter directly into a USB port. Nothing. I tried reinstalling the software, and updating the drivers - nothing. I downloaded the Netgear Genie app too, still nothing. Hi! I have two 104's one with 4*4TB and the other with 4*2TB and both seem to have issues now after I updated to 6.4.1.... both in Raid 10 I cannot copy anything from or to them as the speed is down to almost noting e.g. 0-900 kb/s which in my gb-net is not fine.... I reinstalled OS on one but to no avail.... have looked here but found no definite solution as such, at least according to me. I noted that after the update there was a lot of snapshots taken, however I only scheduled that to once a month. All the disks seems fine but there is a lot of reading of them going on. Factory reset is not an option for me, unfortunately. I do wonder if I have to buy something safer than Netgear, as an update shouldn't have this impact at all?
