XR500 internet time setup and SSH access
Hi experts. Couple of questions for you. I recently bought the XR500 as I got seduced by the DumaOS screens. I previsouly had a Netgear R7000 which I had flashed with DD-WRT Kongo. Liked it a lot but to be honnest the idea of having fancy bandwidth graphs pushed me to the XR500. While the interface is really neat, there are number of features I miss from DD-WRT, and some other upgrades I am hoping for (more icons for the devices e.g. switches, the ability to disconnect a device from the network as the blocking feature works only if the device tries to connect...). I am running version V2.2.1.10 which I believe is the latest one. To the questions: - I must be a little tired or something... how do we change the timezone ? Programming the wifi ON/OFF on specific hours would be much easier if the router was set on my timezone... - is SSH connection blocked ? putty tells me "connection refused"? - I seem to be able to access the interface thru HTTP or HTTPS... how do I limit to HTTPS? thanks much! all'inifinito a ritroso. ho aggiornato il router una settimana fa seguendo la procedura: 1. salvo in un file il backup impostazioni 2. aggiornato router versione V1.0.0.68_1.0.1 3. ripristino da backup ho anche notato che il QOS non funziona se aggiungo un dispositivo, una regola, o provo a eliminare quelle esistenti mi porta sempre su errore 404 pagina non trovata. Mi ricordo che provai a ripristinare il router e che l'errore persisteva ma non avendone bisogno ho ignorato pero' adesso vedere tentativi ricorrenti di sync time mi viene il dubbio che qualcosa non va. faccio un altro reset e configurazione questa volta manuale e vi faccio sapere ma ho i miei dubbi. c'è qualche opzione da controllare prima di fare il reset? in rete ho assegnato indirizzi ip fissi alla stampante wifi e basta. è una xbox one collegata da un mese nuova, ma non credo che sia quello il problema. ringrazio per l'attenzione, cordiali saluti. J'ai une radio Internet connectée en Wifi derrière ce répéteur. Elle ne se met pas à l'heure. Or connectée directement à Internet, elle synchronise immédiatement son horloge. Faut-il paramétrer le WN3000RPv3 pour qu'il transfère les signaux horaires (que je suppose être en NTP) ?
fs728tp setting sntp time server causes random switch reboots \ restarts
In an attempt to syncronize all of my clocks and logging in my switches, I set the netgear time settings to sync with external time servers. Upon doing this, my servers started randomly reboot throughout the day, every 8 to 12 hours. I changed the settings back to 'local' time and the random reboots stopped occurring. I am on the latest firmware with all switches. Software version 5.0.2.39 and boot version b5.2.0.5
