I just need someone to breakdown what I need to do to get an open NAT type. I'm playing on an Xbox One. My Nighthawk MR1100 feeds directly into my Xbox. Firmware is updated too. Also if you're going to ask me to do port forwarding please give a very detailed explanation of what I should do. Thank you very much, and have a good day.MR1100 – Nighthawk M1 Strict NAT on Xbox Issue
Hello, all. A few months back I purchased a unlimited data plan with at&t along with this hotspot in order to game on the Xbox One with it. So, I get on Xbox to find that I have a Strict NAT. I know many here would automatically point me towards a beginners guide on port forwarding but, that's my problem. I did that. I port forwarded everything it asked me to, I tried it both with a static IP and without a static IP. I reset my Xbox time and time again along with clearing the MAC address (After every change to the settings I the modem I made, I reset my Xbox and made sure to unplug it for at least a minute and drain the power block). Hell, I even tried to enable DMZ, knowing that it was dangerous and it STILL didn't open my NAT. My model of nighthawk has UPnP, but that doesn't work either for some reason. In the network settings of the Xbox it says the following: IPv4 NAT Type: Strict UPnP not successful xbox.com/xboxone/UPnP All services are available. I went to the link provided here and tried their method to make UPnP work. It didn't. I attached a screenshot of my attwifimanager page show what I did to port forward (I blocked out my static IP because I didn't know if it would be safe to share here) I would be grateful to anyone who could give me a STEP BY STEP for this model/at&t solution. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong because I've been trying to fix this for months.Nighthawk M1 does not port forward and cannot get help from netgear
So I have a business account with telstra on the extranet apn and they adminantly say that it is not behind a CGNAt and that portforwarding should work and it is the modem at fault. I have also confirmed that many people have got portfowarding working using mobile broadband on the extranet service. But the Nighthawk M1 will not do it. I have tried DMZ and ip pass through and setting up portfowarding rules. and to no avail I cannot get my ftp server to work........ Can anyone confirm that the portforwarding does work and tell me what I am doing wrong. I am ready to take a hammer to he router ....... I have confirmed that my ftp server works on a router modem on a fixed landline service by opening up the correct ports. Also is it true that you can not enter a range of ports into the m1 you have do it individually.Port Forward problems DC112A
No matter what port I forward in the settings, I will always be forward to some Netgear AirCard error page when trying to reach my server from outside. I connect to internet with a AirCard AC785 that is docked to DC112A. I have made the port forwarding in the Cradles settings. Please help, how to do to get the port forwarding work?Netgear Nighthawk M1 Portforwarding Issues
I recently bought the new Nighthawk M1 4G LTE Mobile Router in an 80GB plan from Telstra, everything works well so far, I'm getting at lowest 50mbps, -land so far at highest ~120mbps, either way I'm happy with speed - however I cannot get the port forwarding function to actually work nor UPnP. I'm trying to use it to host a server from a computer. The computer has always worked fine however I need it to work on the Nighthawk M1. I know there's nothING wrong with the computer setup or the server setup as it works normally on any other Netgear router, but it won't work now. I have tried adding the ports in the portforwarding section, I've tried enabling DMZ, and it just won't work. I'm not sure why not. ANY help or advice is definitely wanted! Thanks in advance :)
