Would it be possible to run an ethernet cable from my cm600 cable modem to set nighthawk ac1900 R7000. Then connect an ethernet cable from my ac1900 to my ac2200 wifi range extender for the wifi. Would i have to set my ac1900 in bridge mode? Also this is for the purpose of not only running an ethernet to the ac2200 but another one to my playstation 4 as well. The ac2200 has the option to flip it as an access point instead of a range extender. Therefore i would be able to connect my wifi devices to the ac2200. Basically it would go internet -> cm600 -> ac1900 ->lan cable to ps4, lan cable to ac2200. Sorry I am new to this. Is this completely redundant? I ask this because when i set my ac2200 as extender mode, it will screw up my LAN connection on my ps4 when anyone connects to the ac2200 for some reason. I dont know what settings i'd have to do to fix that.. just wondering if the setup i described above would work just as well.1.3KViews0likes3Comments2 PS4 in same house, same wifi NOT WORKING
My husband and I are NOT techies and all we want is to both we able to play against either other online on our respective PS4s in the same house - different rooms. We have xfinity, and just firgured our cheap little router they gave us was the problem. So we picked up this nighthawk router. We got the moderately priced option. Fearing the cheapest would be too weak, but we live in a small apartment so we didnt want the heavy duty one either. We got home and hooked it up like it says in the booklet. It is up and running just fine. IT WONT LET US PLAY TOGETHER. It keeps kicking us saying we dont have internet, yet when we run the net work connection test, it looks to be connected at top speed. PLEASE help. This is the only reason we bought the router and it doesn't seem to be helping! Did we get in over our head or can this still be set up to work?Solved4.1KViews0likes2CommentsNETGEAR EX7000 Connection Problems
Hello Guys, i have a big issue with my Range Extender* ( EX7000). (I'm connected to the 2GEXT.) The problem is that my Labtop, Computer connects fine to the RE* ... but my other devices like my PS4, Iphone , IPad have Problems with the Connection. I solved the Problem on the I/phone/pad by typing the CLIENT-ID manually in the WLAN Settings from the RE. But on the PS4 i can't connect to the RE. I tested it via LAN and WLAN Connection.. FAILED.. But when i connect to the main WIFI Connection everything works fine.. Also tried to reset the RE Device.. same result. I also have Problems to connect on http://mywifiext.net/. My Internet explorer tells me ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT while i'm connected to the RE Device... Can anybody help me or have the same Problem with the RE EX7000 ? Thanks Rufii3.9KViews0likes3CommentsEX2700 devixe reading error

I am having an issue with my WNDR4300 N750 WiFi Dual Band Gigabit Router running on firmware version V1.0.0.32. It would seem that this router is cutting off connections with the Playstation Network. Having used a previous router and everything working fine, after the installation of the new router, PSN on my PS4 and the PS App on my phone cannot connect. After having been through several calls with both the PS support and my ISP support, I am hoping to find some solutions here. The easiest solution to me at the moment is to simply buy a new router, but I would prefer being able to use this one. Hope someone can help with this issue!SolvedSeeking for help about UPnP issue. (PS4 Gaming GBONEXT)
To All Friends, Thank you for reading my post. My issue is, why sometimes my UPnP rules are not correctly generated. I'm a PS4 player who mainly play Gundam Battle Operation Next. Normally, from openning PS4 until I login the game, it will generate 3 different UPnP rules. 1. UDP 9308 This one usually appears after I tested or retested the networking of PS4 2. UDP 9305 & UDP 9306 They appear when I am logging in the game However, sometimes I can never have 9305,9306 and 9308. All I have are randomly generated UPnP rules whish will have bad effect on gaming. I asked other players, when you have UDP 9306, the networking during the game is the best and the most stable one. Reboot PS4, reboot router, clear and reopen UPnP have no use. I have to wait, sometimes 2-3 hours and things goes normal again. Is this the problem of my ISP, or I should do some settings? If somebody had ever played the game, you will know the game needs strong networking. If you disconnected during the battle it will have penalty. Wish you guys can give me some help Best regards RX-78Solved
