6 TopicsPC was hacked--Now cannot get into my account to change router password.
I have a Nighthawk 4-Stream AX1800 WIFI 6 Router that is 1.5 yrs old. The hackers were on my computer remotely, and actually knew the password on my router's label. Have had my computer cleaned of malware after being hacked. Attempted to change the router's password, but I was unable to get into my Netgear account with my username & password (not the ones on the unit itself). When given the option to type in my Serial # instead, it did not accept the answers I gave to my security questions!! And yes, I do know where I was born and my parent's middle name! What is a work-around so I can protect my router with a new password? Most Service Ports No Longer In Stealth Mode
Greetings, I have the following NETGEAR product: Nighthawk 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router (RAX10) Serial Number: All of my router's service ports used to be in stealth mode. Testing was done at ShieldsUP (https://www.grc.com/shieldsup). After applying the following updates, all of my service ports are closed but only about a dozen are in stealth mode. Hi, I have a Netgear AX1800 WiFi Router which seems to have a wifi problem. The wifi signal on my wife's laptop one floor above the router fluctuates from all bars down to zero within a minute. It used to work fine ( 2 bars at least) for a year and suddenly it makes difficulties. What is going on here? Thanks for any help.Cannot complete registration process
When working through the registration process, it sent me an email and put me on this web page: https://www.netgear.com/success/rax10/?sn=7FT14B50A0A8F&action=regcomplete&code=6a3eb1a7-c63b-453a-8d47-f793e00fd427 The email was received, but it has no links to verify the email. Back on the web page, click on the Continue button to get here https://www.netgear.com/success/rax10/?sn=7Fxxxxxxxxxxx&action=regcomplete&code=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx that was a broken link page. Click on the link to report the problem to get here https://netgear.secure.force.com/cases/logabug.jsp The text indicated it was another broken link page. I am still not registered for this product. Purchased the device earlier today. Log on with an Ethernet connector and configured it. There is an internet connection with the hard wired cable. It will not access via wireless. When logged in directly to the device, everything looks normal to me. Right now, with a cable connected, all the display LEDs are lit. Three turn off regularly for brief periods then right back on again. When I try to go to Netgear Chat, it persists in giving me invalid pages. What might I try to get the wireless working?
