I have used a gmail account as my alert destination for years. After recently failing to receive a set of "volume scrubbing" alert that I receive monthly, I tested the email configuration. The test resulted in the "Unable to contact SMTP host. Please check your entry." message. I checked the gmail settings to confirm they were correct. I then switched the alert email account to an iCloud email account, which I configured as a custom email account using the settings provided by Apple. Same test result (Unable to contact SMTP host . . .). I only recently updated to RAIDiator 4.2.30 but can't claim definitely that the email issue coincided with that update. Any help appreciated.Solved5.2KViews0likes4CommentsLB2120 LB1120 send email instead of sms
Hello, Have written before but never had a reply. I need my LB2120 LTE modem to send me a message when it fails over to 4g but I cannot find a data plan that also will send a text so it would be great if we had the option for sending an email. Has anyone else found a carrier that sells a pay as you go data plan that will also send a sms message? Thank You, Troy10KViews1like5CommentsIs there a ReadyOS 6 package that will provide email server support (SMTP/IMAP)?
There appears to be no email addon for the ReadyNAS series (any model). This appears to be a serious omission. The ReadyNAS would be perfect for local subnet mail receipt and access. Three of my devices want to mail their logs elsewhere, and for security reasons the ReadyNAS would be the perfect choice.SolvedOS 6.6.0 SMTP flood

Firmware: 6.4.2 I am having difficulty with sending email alerts from this ReadyNAS via Office 365 SMTP relay. I confirmed on other devices on the same network that the Receive connector is setup properly and our network engineer confirmed the Cisco ASA isn't blocking traffic. I mimick the settings I setup in Veeam(which work) but nothing. Email account provider is the MX record for this org's office 365 domain, user/password is the full email account of a valid (yet unlicensed) account (this works for Veeam). SMTP port 25, From is same email address. I have tried with or without TLS but it doesn't work. We suspect it is something with the type of authentication the ReadyNAS performs. Any ideas?Solved9.7KViews0likes4Comments
