3 TopicsVirtual Passage Installation error - Windows 7 and Netgear FVS336Gv2 VPN Firewall
I have a Netgear FVS336Gv2 VPN Firewall with the firmware 4.3.3-5 installed but I can't get my Windows 7 Professional machines to connect properly. The Windows 7 machines are 64-bit and they can log into the site. I've added the site to their Trusted Sites for Internet Explorer 11 and adjusted the settings for Active-X to make sure I can install the application when I connect. When I attempt to connect using the VPN Tunnel option, I will get an error at the bottom that states: "WARNING: Virtual Passage could not be installed. Verify you are running Microsoft Internet Explorer and your browser security settings allow ActiveX Controls. To enable ActiveX, add this site as a Trusted Site in your browser's Internet Options >> Security menu." I've done all that but the message just keeps popping up the first time I click on the link each time. If I click the "Connect using VPN Tunnel" a second time (after I get that message), the Virtual Passage starts to install but then just stops with the error message: "Error: Virtual Passage Installation Failed!" I even tried rebooting the computer and pressing F8 to select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" but I still can't get the Virtual Passage to installed. I also removed the virus protection on the computer and turned off all the public and local firewalls for Microsoft to make sure nothing was interfering. Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting this to work? I am not sure what else to try at this point. Thanks.Solved11KViews0likes10CommentsSRXN3205 SSL VPN will not communicate with remote PCs
I have an SRXN3205 with an SSL VPN setup. The VPN has been setup for a while with no problems until now. At least I'm just noticing it now. Last time I tried was about two months ago. Now when I connect to the VPN I can not access my remote systems, no pings, ssh etc... I have it enabled for a full tunnel. If I setup a split tunnel than I can access the remote machines. But only that traffic is being passed throught the VPN. Any ideas?11KViews0likes5Commentsneed advise to configure SRX5308 SSL VPN access
Dear Mates, I am new to the SRX5308, I have installed an SRX5308 behind an ADSL2+ modem/Router in a small office and trying to configure SSL VPN for remote access. I have created the portal layout, domain, groups and users for SSL VPN access. Since it's behind a modem/router, the WAN port gets an IP address from the modem and thus the portal URL becomes https://192.168.1.102/portal/<PortalSite>. While the ISP IP address is different. The ISP IP address seems to be a fixed one and not changing, but not pingable I have tried accessing both the above addresses via the internet but still not able to connect. How can I configure this to allow remote users to SSL VPN connect to the site and login to access local office resources? Any advices are appreciated. Let me know if any further information is needed. Cheers5.3KViews0likes4Comments
