So I have a business account with telstra on the extranet apn and they adminantly say that it is not behind a CGNAt and that portforwarding should work and it is the modem at fault. I have also confirmed that many people have got portfowarding working using mobile broadband on the extranet service. But the Nighthawk M1 will not do it. I have tried DMZ and ip pass through and setting up portfowarding rules. and to no avail I cannot get my ftp server to work........ Can anyone confirm that the portforwarding does work and tell me what I am doing wrong. I am ready to take a hammer to he router ....... I have confirmed that my ftp server works on a router modem on a fixed landline service by opening up the correct ports. Also is it true that you can not enter a range of ports into the m1 you have do it individually.Strong Passwords for AC790S
Hi All This is a query generated from discussion on another thread (https://community.netgear.com/t5/AirCard-LTE-Hotspots-Gateways/SECURITY-quot-Intruder-quot-on-Telstra-BigPond-4G-Advanced-II/m-p/1126947#M1108). In the AC790S manual, reference is made to passwords on a number of occasions. Extract Follows: Three passwords are associated with the hotspot: • Wi-Fi password. Use this to connect your computer or other Wi-Fi device to your mobile hotspot network. This character string is unique to your device. It displays on the main hotspot touchscreen. If the screen is blank (a power-saving feature), press and quickly release the Power key. The default Wi-Fi password is printed on a label under the battery. • Guest Wi-Fi password. When the guest Wi-Fi network is enabled, guests can use this password to access the network. • Admin login password. Use this to log in to the hotspot web page as an administrator. You must log in as an administrator to use certain features and to make changes to your hotspot settings. The default admin login password, admin, is printed on a label under the battery. The admin login pasword can be 5–31 characters. (Page 18.) That fairly sums up the reference to passwords throughout the manual. Re the "Main" password, the default one is a string of eight (8) numerals. Before I start monkeying around and possibly waste my time or worse, is anyone able to tell me: (1) whether the AC790S "Main" password - only referred to as a "character string ... unique to your device" also allows passwords up to 31 characters, and: (2) whether these characters can be the printable hexidecimal ones? (I.e., CAPITALS, lower case, 12345..., !@#$%...), and: (3) whether more than 31 characters are possible? Thank you ausgumbieSolvedAircard 320 U card with 313u driver
Hello I am having an issue with the telstra 4g 320u sierra wireless card. When i attached the device it will not show up to connect in the telsta manager as being available. However, if i use a program called iPass which helps switch between mobile, wireless and wired connections the device is not visiible to connect but in the settings it has 2 drivers available. As soon as i select the 320u driver as prefered it will come up in both ipass and telstra manager then i can connect without issue, but i have to do this procedure everytime i restart my laptop..... Is there a way i can remove the 313u driver and just have the 320U WWAn??? i cannot find it in admin tools in device manager. Telstra Aircard 320U qualcomm 3g Windows 7 pro 64bit
