Factory reset and setup from scratch using same SSID and PW from before? Ive had no issues with my 3 DCS cameras working with Orbi after a FW update, factory reset and setup from scratch using same SSID name and PW.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
What WPA security modes are you using?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

A little more information would be helpful.  So, the Orbi "Attached Devices" page does  not show the DLink camera as being connected?  This is the only WiFi device that has a problem after the firmware update?  How many WiFi devices are on the network and have you done extensive customizing (giving devices unique names, assigning IP addresses, setting up ports, etc.)?  If not, then a "factory reset" is often a good idea to "clear out the debris" from months of activity and get a clean start.  If you have, then the factory reset is seen as quite a chore and usually left as a last resort.

My first step would be to go through the camera startup from scratch.  i.e. plug in an ethernet cord, and follow the directions.

Windows 10 and current. Orbi is current. These two dlink 942L are the only devices not working. Orbi can see them, but they do not go online. There are 12 devices on the network. Not all devices are working simultaneously.

There a model # of the FIOS modem?

What happens if you temporarily disable WPA security on the Orbi. Do the cameras connect then? Re-enable WPA2 and AES only after trying this.

        Set manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4ghz.

Have you reset the cameras and connect them again to the Orbi? Disable the 5Ghz SSID broadcast before you set them up, Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings.

Ensure the cameras FW is up to date as well.

Something you may want to post over on D-Link forum since this maybe a D-Link issue.
