App not connected when in Sattelite (RBS50) - AP mode

Hello community,

I have a strange behaviour when connecting to satellite (RBS50) and wanted to discuss it with you.

So, if i am connecting to the Router, the app goes fine, Detection of router is done and i can see all the options (Device Manager, Internet Speed, Wifi Analytics, etc ..)

But, if i am connecting through the Satellite, the app can;t connect and displays "Issues connecting with SSID_NAME" and have the options 1) Try Again 2) New System Setup 3) Connect Remotely.

 

Does anyone else has the same behaviour?

    What Firmware version is currently loaded?
    What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?


    is the RBS correctly connected to the RBR and synced? 

     

    Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

     

    I checked mine this weekend and didn't see any issues with an iPhone and Android pad connected to the RBS while in the same room with the RBS. Devices seen on the app. 

    v2.5.1.8 loaded on both. AP mode.

      I have the latest firmware on both router and satellite. my gateway is a cisco router and the orbis are connected directly to Cisco. If I connect to the rbr everything works ok. I can also see the satellite on network map connected through wired connection.

      I haven't performed factory reset after the upgrade of firmware. I will give it a shot and report back.

      This is the most factory reseted network device ever ( I had several issues in the past) :-)
