Yes, tried to login directly @ ip address but that did not work either - languages are not an issue as I can loging to my other satellite without any issues. The password from the main router does not seem to have synced

If it's not synced you would see a light on the satellite, should you not?

      Probably still worthwhile to treat them as if they are complety unsynced. 

      Guide on synchronizing Orbi router and satellite
      1. Ensure that both the Orbi router and satellite are powered on.
      2. Press the Sync button located on the router.
      3. Wait for two minutes and then press the Sync button on the satellite.
      4. Your Orbi router and satellite have been successfully synchronized.
