Having an issue with Orbi 2nd satelite

Hi, so I have a bit of a WiFi not spot. So I had the solution to get a satellite.

I noticed that a complete system was same price as satellite. So I bout the 2nd system as I thought. Brilliant 2 satellites for the price of one.

I have now realised that for some obscene reason this is not the case.

So I thought I would cut my losses and instead use the satellite as an extra satelite. However for all the tea in China I cannot not get the satelite connected. Presumably it is configured for the other network.

How can I connect so that the satelite works with the existing network?

Ps someone mentioned I could run the two networks together with the same SSID,  is that right or more hassle than it is worth?

Thanks

What is the FW currently loaded on the current Orbi system and satellites?

You sould need to probably update the FW on the newer satellite if it has never been udpated...

How can I achieve this if it won't connect in the first place?

        Hello Pmcgarryuk

Can you confirm how many routers and satellites you have
