        Which firmware did you install?

Anytime there's an issue after updating firmware, a reasonable first step is factory resetting and reinstalling. Have you tried that?

Logically speaking if all other devices don't have an issue and your Macbook does, the problem lies with the Macbook.

    Maybe this article will help:

Hmmmmm.. My logc was based on your minimal amount of information. I took it as you had no internet connection on the Macbook. But again, if all other devices have no issues and your 1 device does, the problem lies with the device that is having a connection issue.

The link I posted is available because Apple is well aware of the network issues Macbooks are having with several branded routers. Some users have had to resort to purchasing a USB WIFI dongle.
