N300 WNR2000v3 Router Connecting to Roomba i3

I recently purchased an iRobot Roomba i3 but have been unable to set it up due to Wi-Fi connection issues. I run through the Roomba set up, but when it gets to the point of connecting to Wi-Fi I get a popup saying the router disconnected. The router has Firmware v1.1.2.18. I can see nothing in the administrative screen that would be causing an issue and cannot find anything regarding 2.4 vs. 5 GHz in the settings. I do not know enough about Wi-Fi to go changing things in the settings.

Arris SBB200? Do you mean SB8200? There isn't an SBB

If so, you're bottleneck is big time on that router. Its a old base model N300 devices with only 10/100mbps connections. Its not gigabit either. An upgrade in the future might be a good plan.

What security are you using on the router?

Thanks!  I just posted this in that product group as well.

  • The WNR2000 doesn't have 5ghz.

    What firmware is on it?

What modem/gateway is it connected to?
