Orbi - do all models require an existing modem? Also, which one to get?

Question

Before I buy, just wanted to check if there are any models of Orbi where the base can act as a modem, or do ALL of the different models require an existing modem?

Also, what is the best model for gaming and home office use?

no orbi model has a modem built in so you will still need a modem.
