Orbi and Global Cache iTach
I use a Global Cache iTach Wifi to IR, but I've not been able to get it to connect to my newly installed Orbi system. Has anyone had any success with this? Thanks in advance.
Just an update on this.
I disabled 20/40 MHz coexistance on the Orbi and the iTach was able to connect again.
So, I guess that's the solution.

Hello gesonrose
I am not familiar with that product are you able to give some more detail on the issue you are having.

This unit is designed to allow you to send signals from your wifi remote control (I use Simple Control) to control IR devices. I actually just heard back from the manufacturer's support dept. who stated the following: "Unfortunately, we have determined there is an issue with the Netgear Orbi and the iTach WiFi units. We have been investigating, but there has been no resolution yet. We believe it has to do with their implementation of 802.11b."
- st_shawMasterI too have Simple Control and iTach. I was unable to connect when I first bought Orbi. A few weeks later I tried again and it connected. Then another firmware update came and it no longer connects. I will probably buy a wired version of iTach to resolve the issue.

That's awesome, ST_SHAW! Are you able to determine if disabling 20/40 MHz coexistance has any other impact?
Thanks!

I haven't noticed any other impact.
