Orbi frequently loosing connection and turning magenta
My set up: Fios Actiontec MI424WR rev e, router conneted to Fios ONT via MOCA 2.0, feeding RBRB50 with three satellites (large 3 story house).
I also have some TIVO minis connected via Moca 2.0/coax.
It seems that every 48 hours or so, the Orbi turns magenta and the signal slows to a crawl (alhough usually we can still connect). The solution is (in this order only)
1) turn off the Fios router
2) turn off the Orbis--wait 2 minutes
3) reboot the Fios
4) reboot the Orbis
Doing this in any other order does not work and the Orbi's fail to regain connection. Connecting via ethernet directly to the Fios router always works, even when the Orbi's are magenta.
This is getting to be a problem with home learing and Zoom, and it seems it happening more and more fequently..
What do you all think the problem could be? Fios router? The Moca devices?
I tried new cables, and I have the latest firmware, BTW. If I should provide more details let me know.
Any help appreciated!

Are you referring to a satellite turning magenta?. Is it just one or more? What satellites do you have?
How far are your satellites from the Orbi router, as it may be you are too far away?
For testing purposes you could disconnect the MOCA devices, bypass the ISP router and go direct with the Orbi, (but you would have to put it in router mode, if it not already).

The router turns magenta first and then the satellites do the same.
I can easily try taking the MOCA devices away, but I can't bypass the ISP router, as the Fios drop has coax only, no ethernet (I know that can be chnaged, but not without a service call from FIOS), so I need the Fios router to convert coax to ethernet.

Your Orbi router ring LED might pulse magenta for the following reasons: the WAN port link is down, the router is unable to get the IP address from the modem or ISP, or the router is unable to connect to the Internet.
With that said try changing the Network cable that connects the Verizon router to the Orbi RBR50 router.

Is the orbi hardwired into the actiontec via ethernet or do you have a moca setup running it?
Is the orbi running in AP mode?- ipswichclamAspirant
Orbi is hardwired by ethernet to the actiontec. Orbi is in AP mode (not router) because I had my router set up with some custom port forwarding.
