Orbi Mesh System RBR40 Quit Working
My main router just stopped working. I have tried unplugging it to reset it. I have also pressed the reset button. The small green light above the "on/off" button is lit, but the halo on the top will not light up any color at any time. It just seems completely dead while showing that it is getting power. The satellites seem to be fine, as they are lighting up the amber color indicating there is no connection with the main router. Any advice would be appreciated. This system is only 3 years old, which seems like a short time for such an expensive piece of tech to work.

Sometimes a Factory Reset helps:

The key is to hold something in the tiny reset hole long enough (up to 15 seconds)

Hello,
This works really well for me, thank you! Facing same issue here. Help is appreciated.
- ChrisJohnsonDozAspirantI have tried this several times, but it hasn’t worked. I’ve held it as long as 2 minutes but the green power light does not change colors, and it will not even do the factory reset. I guess this is Orbi’s way of forcing you to upgrade. Very disappointing!!
