Orbi RBK53 constant disconnects and slowness
I recently purchased the ORBI RBK53 from costco and it has been nothing but problems since I've owned it. I work from home and it is important to be available and connected via vpn to work. I get disconnects/reconnects throughout the day and as many as 5 to 6 times in a row. The only time I get a stable connection is if I'm wired to the router. I did not have these issues with my wrt32acm but replaced it because i had some spots in the house that I need internet.
I have a 2100 sq foot ranch style house with the router in the rear and have the satellites in various location between 25-40 feet away from the router. Currently it is at 25 feet away from the router there are no walls or obstructions and really nothing that could cause a slowdown between the router/satellites. The satellites are currently running at 2.4ghz with poor reception.
I have tried many different recommended settings including removing daisy chain, enable Mimo, changing 2.4/5ghz output, turning off armour, setting static IP Ports for devices. I also changed the firmware to the last stable version prior to 2.5.1.8. Nothing has helped. I am extremely frustrated and on the verge of throwing the entire setup into the trash can.
I am not sure how netgear can advertise that this mesh WiFi can support 7500 sq feet yet struggle as 2100sq feet.

30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
25 feet maybe too close.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Please try a factory reset and setup from scratch with the RBR and RBS.
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).- Retired_Member

Thank you for the reply. My ISP is charter and I currently have the Spectrum E31T2V1 cable modem. I have the 200mbps plan
I performed a factory reset yesterday and also have the following settings set:
ipv6 disabled
Upnp disabled
armour disabled
daisy chain enabled
Beam forming enable
MIMO enabled
Wmm enabled
2.4 channel 1 & 6
5 channel 48
Changed domain name server to 8.8.8.8
I have tried distances between 25-40 feet. There was no improvement but the further away, the slower the speeds. I am sure there are other settings i tried that i have not listed

uPnP should be enabled.
So are you getting disconnects with just the RBR or with the entire system?
