ORBI RBR 20 Speed
I just upgraded my home broadband. The download speed directly from the cable co model is 1107 Mbps and upload 34.2. when I test through the ORBI RBR 20 the download speed is 550 Mbps and upload 17.9. Is this normal? Are there setting I should tweak?

If you're testing wired, you should be able to get a bit more speed. Wireless, thats about all the device has.
- what modem are you using?
- ARE you testing wireless?
- Disable any parental controls, access controls, traffic monitoring, or qos on these device. They do traffic inspection and can slow the speeds on these devices.
Yes. Wou'll not see much over 500Gb over wireless. Wired you should see near 900Mpbs. The 20 series is older generation so if you want to see over 900Mpbs, may want to upgrade to newer generation Orbi system
