Orbi RBR 20

I had functioning Orbi, worked great,  then I got the idea to get another Orbi for a remote cabana which has Ethernet port wired directly with the internet service provider, I could use the Orbi as an access point for that location.  Well I bought an Orbi used and it did not work.  So in the process of checking it out I  took my good functioning Orbi to that location and it didn't work either, so I returned it to another part of the house and now it doesn't work there either, so I bought a new Orbi on Amazon and it doesn't work either.

so now I have three non functioning Orbi's.  I have tried everything.

i should add that internet ports are connected with smart tv all able to connect to the internet.

Did you get a RBR or a RBS?

What model Orbis do you have? RBR or RBS?

Is the RBR or RBS directly wired to the RBR or is there a ethernet switch in between?

I have three RBR 20, all of show up on mobile devices, but will none will connect to the internet, they also will not pass through the wired connection at the outlet Ethernet port.

read my post again, You have to trace that wired connection to see how it is connected.

It is also interesting to note, that the one Orbi was working until i bought a "used" one on EBay.

then i bought a new on a few days ago from Amazon and it does work either.  Could the "used" on have contaminated the other two?

So you are saying the remote cabana Ethernet port is wired directly with the internet service provider, and you have internet access there?

If so no satellite will work on the cable, until you get the cable off the ISP. The Orbi satellite needs an Orbi router to function.

Trace where that cable is coming from. And if connected to the ISP router or switch connected to the ISP router, if possible unplug it and plug it into the Orbi router.
