Orbi Router rbr20 ethernet port not detecting device
Orbi RBR20 does not detect a device connected via the ethernet port. The device is an alarm system using DHCP. Any advice gratefully received.
David.

Try a different port.
Swap LAN cables between device and RBR. Use good quality CAT6 LAN cables.
Install a non managed, non green ethernet Gb LAN switch behind the RBR and connect your devices to the switch.
Any progress on this?

Nothing has helped so far. The RBR20 ethernet port is not detecting any device (PCs, printer, alarm module). Are there any Orbi Router settings that should be configured? All technical advice is that the router should connect via ethernet automatically - clearly not the case.
WiFi is working perfectly.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

Hi,
Have you had any luck with your problem? This is identical to a problem I am having with mine which has an identical setup and ISP to yours. WiFi works perfectly around my office and house. The RBR20's single ethernet port is dead and cannot find any configs to open it or diagnose it.
