Purchase a used Orbi RBK50...serial number issues
I bought a used RBK50 system a couple of days ago and everything has set up fine except being able to register the serial with netgear. I know I'm out of the warranty range but is there ANY benefit to registering the product with the serial thats already registered to another person (original purchaser)? Is there any way to transfer the serial number under my name or should I even bother? Everything seems to be working fine otherwise. I just don't want netgear to blacklist the serial number if they do that (like cell phones). Thoughts?

- jasonpTXAspirantWell apparently since the previous owners warranty ran out, I can't email them without paying?!..odd. I guess I'll call.
If it is like other Netgear products, the previous owner can go to MyNetgear and "release" the registration with Deactivate Product.
I have done this to move devices from one MyNetgear account to another.
