RBK50 (2018) now adding RBS50 which I believe is RBS50v2
The RBS50 I am adding is new - never used. However, I believe the firmware is quite old. Research is suggesting I need to update the firmware in two steps. The suggestion is that I get RBS50v2-v2.5.1.16 and RBSv2-2.7.5.6. I am trying to get them from Support. The current firmware on the sat is v2.0.1.4_1.0.06. Any help on locating v2 files and the upgrade process would be appreciated greatly. Thank you.

Thank you. I have been told by two sources (? the validity) that these are v1 files despite the v2 description. I went back to the source you recommended and I noticed: Under previous files I downloaded the v2.5.1.16 which I am supposed to start with because the older firmware will not upload in one step. I then saw there are two v2.7,5.6 files with different sizes. When I downloaded both files the view tells me they are the same size. I need to break for today, but I will try that combination soon. I appreciate the information. Thanks again.

Yes v1 files are same for v2. Only differences between these two was that NG removed the back USB port on the v1 when they came out with the v2 version. Otherwise FW and all is the same.
Yes, some times if FW is too old and hadn't been updated progressively on each version, then you may need to find a intermediate version to bring the RBS up to a certain FW level, then from there, you should be able to update to same version as what is loaded on the RBR and rest of system. All need to be at same level. Update RBS first, then RBR lastly.
Good Luck.
