RBR10 won't connect
Greetings,
I was given an RBR10 router with 2 satellites. The light on the router never turned solid white, but blue. After several minutes I continued with the install. When it came time to connect my phone to the Orbi network, it simply didn't connect and went back to the password screen. It's not saying the password is incorrect (it isn't) it just simply stops and gives me no options. Is the router faulty? TIA

What modem/gateway are you connecting it to?
Did you factory reset it prior to trying to install?
What firmware is on the router and on the satellites?
- Tazzin38AspirantIt's a Netgear router from Charter. I unplugged it as per instructions. I have no idea what the firmware is.

Assuming that the Orbi 'app' was being used to set up this system, correct?
"when it came time" is a little ambiguous. (I have never used the &%(#^^ 'app' to set up a router, and am thus unfamiliar with the steps.) For example:
- The app found the router...?
- The app said to connect the router to the Internet Service Provider with an Ethernet cable...?
- At some point the app invited you to change the WiFi name and password....?
The "devil is in the details."
