RBR20 mesh with 2 satellites. Since Firmare update 2.6.2.104 troubles
Has anyone experienced any problems since the latest Fireware update 2.6.2.104?
My internet now goes out 2 -6 times a day since update. Contacted internet provider and have re-booted both Modem and router numerous times. Internet good for a while and then goes of-line. Reboot again. Provider says no service problems in area. Could it be the new Fireware update? What do I do ? Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

I have had the same issue. I am trying to figure out how to roll it back.

go to the download area and enter your model number.
I found some helpful instructions in another post describing how to apply a previous, firmware update.

After months of stability with me working remotely and my four kids participating in remote learning, we basically went from stability to loads of issues after updating to 2.6.2.104 at the beginning of March. Speed tests all looked great, but I began having regular issues with audio cutouts and disconnects with both Zoom and Teams video calls. The kids had lots of stability issues with their classes.Things were so bad, in fact, that I ended up re-enabling the access point on our modem; the kids and I have all been using that and only a handful of home devices are still using the Orbi access point as of right now. After doing a bunch of the requisite, standard troubleshooting -- rebooting the modem and all Orbi devices -- connecting to the Orbi remained unstable while connecting directly to the modem access point was stable.
I'm fairly certain that I had 2.6.1.36 installed prior to the last update and I'm planning to rever to that version to see how things go.

Next time, try a factory reset and setup from scratch after loading new FW if you encounter problems. Many problems are solved by a reset.
Good Luck.- btgrantTutor

Good Luck.I figure that doing the firmware rollback would be less involved than a factory reset. In your experience, is doing a factory reset relatively trivial as long as you've got a backup of the router's configs? Or is it advised to reconfigure the router by hand after a factory reset?
Thanks!

I recommend trying both with a saved configuration then one with from scratch if problems are seen after the backup is used. Sometimes older saved backups can still introduce problems from prior versions of FW. I recommend if updating FW and no issues are found, save off a new backup. If problems are seen, factory reset and setup from scratch, if no problems are seen after the reset, then save off a new backup configuration to file.
