RBR20 with magenta ring but internet
Dear community,
I face an issue with my RBR20 router since one week. The system shows suddenly a magenta ring but the internet access is still given.
The system consists of an RBR20 in AP mode with 2 satellites. The wired internet connections works flawless. Also the Orbi App shows a green checkmark for internet connection.
As said, all Wifi devices connected to the RBR20 or the satellites have internet access.
But the speed test or the website of the router indicating a missing internet connection.
Reboot/Power cycle of router, switches, Orbi along with firmware updates shows no effect.
Any idea of the root cause or ideas for further troubleshooting?

If found the solution.
By changing the IP configuration to DHCP, the magenta ring disappeared. While scanning the network, I cannot determine a double IP.
For DNS, the DHCP server of router issued a different prim. DNS and sec. DNS IP that I have added manually. I just used the IP of the router.
THe effect could be verified: Changing to manual IP again showed the magenta rin, changing to DHCP again solved the issue.

do you have whatever is managing DHCP (primary router) wired into the wan port on the orbi?

I understand that you are having network disconnections with your RBR20 Orbi Mesh System.
This issue can be solved by following the troubleshooting steps below:
First, disconnect your Orbi Mesh system from your main router.
Then, ensure that there is network connection coming from that router. Next, add the router in AP mode and verify connectivity.
Finally, If there is connection add each satellite one at a time.
