RBR50 with 1 satellite

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

I tried putting the satellite in the office which is at the other end of the house in the basement but had very poor connection so I was forced to put it where it is now. Could I get another satellite and put in the office or is it too close and pointless to the other satellite. I guess my thinking is the satellite I would put in the office would go off the satellite in the basement which goes to the router and therefore give me great connection. As seen in the picture the satellites would not be very far apart at all. Unless there's other options I'm stumped on what to do. The computer has been working good with a wifi extender but ideally I would like to put my xbox in there as well but I want everything to be connected via cable.
