Router Firmware Version V2.1.4.10 Brought My LAN to Crawl
I just updated to above stated firmware version. It brought my wired and wireless connection down to a crawl. It's averaging 1.5Mbps on a wired connection and worse on wireless. This morning I authorized a brand new Motorola Surfboard SB6183; I keep one in stock. Hook straight to the modem and get full speed around 20Mbps up and 1.5Mbps down. Any suggestions?

What version of FW was loaded before updating?
Please try a factory reset of the Orbi router and any Satellites and walk thru the set up wizard and set up from scratch.
- Sorry, not sure what version of the firmware was on it before today. I can say that I check it at least once per month for updates and install same. I'm thinking it had to be current. I have no issue starting from scratch.

Reset both router and satellite and and set up from scratch. Set up the router first, the add the satellite.
Let us now how it goes.

Please give network switch model# info.
Can you give us a diagram of your network lay out? ISP Modem Mfr and mode#>Orbi Router>any network switches>etc..
Might help us to have a better idea of how your system is all connected.
I would run some tests with out these in the mix to test. Swap LAN cabling as well.
I'm running wired back haul now and have not seen any issues since...Wondering if there is a problem in switches, cableing or your satellite could be faulty. Seen a few on here reporting bad satellites.
Forget about all the rest of local area network. I have a Motorola SB6183 modem wired to Netgear Orbi RBR50. I isolated everything else and have butt-slow speeds wired and wireless connected this way. I can hook straight to the modem and full speed consistently. Everthing was fine until I intalled the latest firmware. I reset back to factory default settings and reinstalled latest firmware and still slow. I have changed cables throughout and no change. I've hooked two different pc's straight to the router with same results. It has to be the router/switch. I have seen brief periods over the past two days where it reched normal speeds. This system is less than a year old and lives in a good enviroment. More than happy with it up until this point. But with that being said--I can't live this as it is and will be looking at other options.
