Aircard 810S Firmware Update NTG9X40C_11.14.08.32
Does anybody know what kind of updates does the new (2018/01/23) AirCard 810S firmware update bring to the router?
I've upgraded it via network, on router request, but... I do not like doing updates with not any info about what's changed...
Nonetheless... it's a pity that a company like Netgear does not give any info about fw updates within the downloads section (my router is an unlocked retail 810S, bought on Amazon, that... neither exist in the product list!)

Sorry to hear about your frustration. For our Aircards, the firmware is through the ISP. I will forward this to my internal team to see if we can provide the notes for the firmware update.

Interesting.
I have the same model but my firmware is still on 11.14.08.24 (2017/06/09) with no updates available. Tried checking on both the device and also thru the Netgear Mobile app but nothing.

Hi SkimMilk,
Can you take out the SIM card and reseat it into the SIM card slot. Make sure it is seated properly and let it power all the way on then check for updates.

Thanks for the suggestion Jason. Tried it, no updates available.
Thought it could be an APN issue so I switched it back to Telstra's APN and rebooted, same thing, no updates available.
For both scenarios, data network is working as I could surf the net.
Just couldn't find any updates available.

Hi Jason, where do I get the service model information?
I'm currently located in Singapore.
I bought the device online, received it on 28th Feb with the device on firmware 10.13.02.00 dated 2015/09/03. It then got updated to 11.14.08.12 dated 2016/09/14 before updating to the current version 11.14.08.24 dated 2017/06/09.
All the above updates were done in SG, with the same sim card (Singapore's telco: M1).
The only difference is that I've changed the wifi settings and added extra APN configs.
I'm also running the Netgear mobile software on both iOS and Android and have updated them to the latest version (yesterday I believe).
jlm70 mentioned that s/he has updated the device, but is interested to know the changes in this firmware version. :)
