Network unlock request / no Netgear response to telco

Hey all,

So having a nightmare getting my M2 unlocked, bought it on a 30 day mobile broadband sim.

The mobile telco EE (British Telecom U.K.) submission to Netgear for such was placed in Dec, 10 working days, no dice.


Spoke to EE mid Jan, they chased up Netgear, no dice.


Now I understand CoVID delays on everything but EE have again had to contact you again netgear in the last few days.

Can Netgear please sort something out, EE do not hold the unlock codes & if you can’t provide them on a case by case basis perhaps Netgear need to send EE the whole file for its M2 locked devices.


Netgear please help, this isn’t what a consumer expects from a multinational like yourself.

In 14 months I have not been able to unlock my device even though I am out of contract. Again the last two months submissions again are being unanswered.

I bought a 5G modem with another manufacturer because this isn’t acceptable consumer care.

        Can anyone at Netgear help with this situation?
