Nighthawk AC1900 R6900v2

Nighthawk AC1900 Model : R6900v2
I have followed the start up instructions in the pamphlet and have let the genie set up multiple times . But i still can't get my modem and router to connect and produce Wi-Fi . At this point I feel like the router we bought is worthless :( ....

    Hi Eam_Mpm,

    I am sorry you are having trouble getting this setup to work. Did you update the router to the current firmware version? if so, then can you perform a factory reset on the router after the firmware update is finished.

    Also can your devices get connected through the modem?

    Please let me know if this has fixed the issue. :]

      As far as I know it is up to date with the firmware . I'm not sure how to factory reset it though , how do I ?

        Hi Eam_Mpm,

        Please locate the factory reset button located on the back left of the router.

        Using narrow enough to fit the whole (a paperclip), press and hold the button for at least 10-15 second.

        Release the button and wait for the router to reboot.
