Using MR6500 with Unifi Express Router
I just purchased an MR6500 and I need some pointers of how to set it up to work with my current network.
My router is a Unifi Express device and presently it connects to a DSL modem. I want to replace the DSL with the MR6500. I am planning to connect the MR6500 using ethernet and to connect the Ethernet connector to the router "internet" port.
I realize there will be changes to the router, how do I set up the MR6500 to operate in this mode?

I would start with the MR6500 user manual:
https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/MR6500/MR6500_MR6110_UM_EN.pdf
Connect the Unifi Express to the MR6500 with an Ethernet cable, perform a Factory Reset on the Unifi Express, and proceed to configure it.

I am not an expert but you can try putting MR6500 in passthrough and then plug it into unifi WAN.

You can set the MR6500 to bridge mode or IP passthrough, so it acts like a modem and passes the connection to your Unifi Express router. Then, connect the MR6500’s LAN port to the router’s WAN/Internet port. Make sure to disable DHCP on the MR6500 if needed. Check the admin interface for these settings.

To set up your MR6500 to replace the DSL modem and work with your Unifi Express router, first insert a SIM card into the MR6500 and ensure it has a good LTE signal. Then, access the MR6500’s admin interface (usually via its IP address in a browser) and disable DHCP if your router handles IP assignments. Set the MR6500 to operate in bridge or passthrough mode if available—this allows it to pass the public IP directly to your Unifi router.
