Admin Edge Port
When trying to change my switch to the spanning tree root bridge, I found that while it thinks it is the root, other switches still think a different switch is the root.
In troubleshooting this problem, I found a setting for each interface under the spanning tree settings that is "Admin Edge Port" It is enabled by default. That sounds kinda similar to Cisco's portfast option, but I haven't been able to find any information online.
Does anyone know what an admin edge port is?
