Bridge Ports on Switch

I have a client that used to have a direct attach cable between two hosts.  Now, they want to add a switch in the mix to be able to extend the capability to multiple hosts.  They are only using UDP packets.  They have no ARP or TCP/IP on one of the end points.  Is there a way to bridge two ports on the switch mentioned above to "simulate" the direct attach cable?

    Hello defiant2,

    Welcome to the community!

I believe link aggregation (LAG) can be used if the hosts have the capability to use LAG as well. Click here for more information and example. Can you provide a diagram of what you are trying to accomplish?Other members here might be able to suggest a different setup.

    Thanks,
