cable modem CM400 & Fast Switch FS116
Hi -
We have just moved into a new house and it came with a FS116 in the basement. I've managed to get our internet set up and am using our CM400. I can get service when I plug directly into our cable modem, but when going through the FS116, I seem to be only able to have one port active at a time. I'm wondering if the CM400 is too small of a modem for the FS116.
I have an apple Air Port extreme that is currently using the one port working but I'd like to be able to use ethernet connections in other rooms.

Welcome to the community!
As per checking that you connected the FS116 directly to the back of the CM400 which is a modem, but the functionality of the FS116 is just an additional port from the router. You should connect the FS116 switch to one of the LAN port of the Airport Extreme(Router) then connect the internet port to the CM400.
