Compatibility for AXM763 (10Gbic module)
Does this module AXM763 compatble with GS724Tv4 ? I want to link it with a M4300-28G ProSAFE 24-port 1G and 2-port 10GBASE-T and 2-port 10G SFP+ thx
This is exactly right.
At least, one option still exists: the M4300-28G supports 1G speed on its 10G SFP+ interfaces, so it is possible to use AGM731F 1000BASE-SX transceiver (you indicated LRM mode so I am assuming multimode fiber) on both M4300-28G and GS724Tv4 for a 1Gbps full duplex interconnect.

No. The AXM763 is a SFP+ 10GBASE-LRM Transceiver, while the GS724Tv4 does only have Gigabit SFP slots. SFP(+) interfaces as well as fibre Gbic don't have any speed negotiation capability.

Even of we would assume there are counterparts on the other switch supporting the same speed, mixing different speed (1G and 10G) can't be used on a trunk, and mixed technologies (mixed latencies) in a trunk is a bad idea.
