Connecting ISP to SFP port

Hello

I am trying to set up an Fiber ISP connection to the SFP port on our switch, I am not getting an account/link LED staus on either ports. Are these auto sensing ports are do they need to be set up with the ISP static IP address?

Thanks

DV

Fiber and SFP is and was never autonegotiating. What SFP module is provided by the ISP exactly? For 1G they often use 1.25G, for 2G they often use 2.5G - link speeds the SFP garages can't make.

Does your ISP provide plain TCP/IP wit a complete subnet? If not ..figure.

Even a L2/3 switch can't act as a NAT router, does not have an IP address on a port...

That makes complete sense- is there way to use the switch as a pass through to a SonicWall firewall since the firewall does not have an SPF port on it?

      Thank you again!
