Export/Import VLAN database
What is the most efficient way to copy a VLAN database from one switch to another?
I have searched through these forums and I have not found a good answer.
I have 6 Switches, I plan to implement VLANs. There are 10-15 VLANs that I need to implement. Instead of configuring it on each and every switch, is there a way to import or use something like VTP to copy the data to other swtiches once it is configured on one of them?

- kofiAspirantMost Netgear managed switches support "GARP VLAN Registration Protocol" aka GVRP. That's (mostly) an equivalent to the proprietary VTP. Once you distributed the VLANs you can still use 'vlan makestatic' commands if you want them to become static.
I did stody how GVRP could be implemented but didn't see the advantage to add another protocol for the 4 VLANs we have in use - but it might be more meaningful for 15 - and on the amount of switches to configure.
