The "separation of traffic" is done based on "VLAN tags" - tags that the switch append to the data packets marking them - the connection between the switch and the AP must pass these VLAN tags through to the AP so the switch port has to be set as "T".
Sorry I can't help with step-by-step as I have never used that equipment.
