GS110TP

Hi there everyone 

I am spending too much time on something I feel should be straightforward, but it is not working as it should. I am a novice with networking but I am computer literate.

We have four-holiday cottages all on one farm

We have one broadband connection, connected to a GS110TP 8 lan port - 2 fiber port Switch. 

I have ethernet and Fiber lines from the switch running from the switch to all cottages.

In each cottage, there is a BT router set up as a wireless access point each has there own IP address, username and password and the firewall is switched off. Having read other messages on this forum, I have come across the fact that these need to be  VLAN compatible and I do not know what this means.

Currently, if you log in to any of the routers you get internet but you can also view all the other devices login on in any of the other cottages. I wish to make a network which gives each cottage internet access but not access to the other devices on other wireless access points.

I have tried multiple times to get the VLAN set up, but things are not working. I don't find the Netgear switch easy to manage / easy to learn. I have viewed many tutorials but not seem to match the user interface that I see when I log in. I have updated the firmware to the latest version. I have never been able to view the ports visually as it always says I need java installed which I do have.
