GS116E firmware upgrade from a Mac?
My brand new switches came withe old firmware. However the upgrade utility only appears to be available for windows. Is there a way to upgrade these from a Mac or Linux environment? If no I'm going to have to send them back.

GS116E or GS116Ev2, the label might say GS116E-200xxx for the newer one?
Current firmware version based on the Web UI?
The newer v2 one is in the market since late 2013 - and when I have it right (unless there was a special process required at some step) it does support http based update.My bad GSS116E - I hunted down a copy of parallels so I cound download a windows image so I could run the upgrade. What pain that was.
